My Brother's Wife 2: What The Heart Wants Page 6

Malachi: fine when were 14 and 15. but gotdamn there are no words to describe your beauty now. That body.. that ass.. shit.. baby I couldn’t stop staring the day I came home. I really tried to fight my feelings and desire for you and tried to be happy for Dre.

That nigga seemed so in love with you and now I know why. Baby, I know shit is real crazy right now but I can’t get our night at the beach house out of my head. Damn, that pussy couldn’t stop talking to me, it was so damn wet baby.. it was soaking wet..

“Ari, are you okay?” Ava asked as she made her way over to Arianna. “You don’t look so good. Ava now stood in between Arianna and Andre as she studied her. “You look flush, are you okay?”

“Yes Ari, you don’t look well. Are you sure you are okay?” Edward asked as well.

“Yes, I’m fine, can one of you get me a bottle of water?” She asked as she met eyes with Andre whose deadly stare was burning a hole through her. He looked beyond angry, but what bothered Arianna the most was the pain that was also evident in his eyes.

“Here you go, Ari,” Ava said, handing her the bottle of water. She then placed the phone on the counter, unscrewed the bottle and took a gulp. “What’s going on? What’s in the text messages?” Ava asked as she looked from Arianna to Andre with curiosity.

“Uuhmm, Ava and Ed can you excuse us for a minute?” Arianna asked, staring in Andre’s eyes.

“Okay, we’ll be in the yard, and Dre, remember what I said,” Edward warned Andre as he and Ava exited the kitchen.

Arianna cleared her throat as she placed the water bottle on the counter. “Dre..”

Andre slowly edged closer to her as he held his finger up in front of her lips silencing her. When he finally spoke, Arianna barely recognized his voice.

“Pussy was soaking wet for him, huh?” Andre stressed through clenched teeth.

Arianna held her head down in shame as the tears fell effortlessly. “I’m sorry,” she whispered causing Andre to lose it.

“Uuughh!!!” Andre banged his hand on the counter causing the bottle of water to spill over and Arianna to shriek in fear. “I’m so fucking tired of hearing you say you sorry! What the fuck are you sorry for! Huh? What the fuck are you sorry for!” Andre’s voice cracked and tiny specks of spit flew from his mouth. Arianna cried hysterically as Andre stepped back and covered his face with his hands. His emotions were getting the best of him and he truly felt as if he was no longer in control of them. As if things weren’t bad enough, Andre Junior’s voice was heard as he ran into the kitchen.

“Mom, Dad! What’s going on? Mom, why are you crying?” Arianna quickly turned her back to him as she hurriedly wiped her face.

“A.J., mommy is okay. C’mon, let’s go back to the yard,” he ushered A.J. out of the kitchen so Arianna could get herself together.

“Ed, I’ll take my car and follow you.”

“Alright man. Are you going to be okay? Ava and I heard you guys out there, you know,” Edward admitted.

Andre sighed as he rubbed his face with hands. “Yeah, I didn’t mean for A.J. to hear that shit, man. It’s crazy right now,” Andre expressed as he opened the door to his Cadillac Escalade.

“Well, that’s why I’m taking you with me back to Brooklyn. You two need some space and time to cool off. Later on, once everything is calm, you guys can have a civilized conversation. Besides, you get to see grandpa, grandma and my dad.”

  Chapter Five

  Brooklyn, New York

“Damn, fool, you can’t workout with a shirt on? Why do you always have to show off?” Edward joked.

“Man, shut the hell up and spot me.” Andre ordered as he and Edward lifted weights in a nearby gym. Normally, Andre was able to bench over two hundred and sixty five pounds without needing assistance, however, after benching for over an hour he felt as if he might have out done himself a little, but the more he benched the less angry he felt. Walking in on Arianna and Malachi was enough for him to commit murder, which he almost did. If Arianna wasn’t accidently hit and a beach patrol didn’t miraculously show when they did, Andre would have continued with the forceful blows he inflicted on Malachi, which would have more than likely turned fatal.

As he reflected, he thought nothing couldn’t make him angrier than what he saw that night, however, seeing those text messages was a feeling he couldn’t fathom. Reading messages where a man described sexual things about his wife that only he should know is enough to send any man over the edge. Andre was one of those alpha ego type males who in simple term; could dish it out but in no shape or form could he take it. If he never understood how Arianna felt when she caught him in the act, then he with out of doubt understood now, which was the reason he was willing to forgive her the way she forgave him. However, the difference between when he cheated and her cheating is there were no feelings in it for him. No, it was just plain old fucking for him. There was no hesitation or reluctance to get rid of the female he cheated with. The most hurtful thing about this situation was his wife; the only woman he ever loved, doesn’t only love him. Although it had only been a few days since everything went down, he was ready to throw in the towel on his marriage. At first he was determined to fight for Arianna because deep down he loved her more than he loved each breath he took, and because this wasn’t your average love triangle. Also, the truth is, in some weird and twisted way, Des was right; he didn’t want Malachi to have her.

As quiet as it’s kept, Andre always felt deep inside that Malachi overheard he and Desmond’s conversation when they were thirteen years old; regarding his crush for Arianna. He was just never able to prove it.

“Aight man, lift it up, I’m done.” Andre sat up on the bench once Edward lifted and put the weights back in place. Grabbing his towel from a nearby bench, he wiped sweat off his face and placed the towel around his neck.

“So, I’m off to the shower and then we can head on to Imani’s Bar and Grill. The food there is excellent,” Edward expressed causing Andre to laugh.

“Yeah, I bet it is. Isn’t that place owned by that chick you just started dating?” Andre asked as Edward laughed as well.

“As a matter of fact, it is. Her name is Imani and you finally get to meet her, plus the food is great.”

“Yeah, okay. Well, I’ll probably just have some drinks, that pasta grandma made earlier still got me feeling full as hell.” Andre admitted.

“Yeah, she makes a mean pasta and she was happy to see you. The whole family was. You need to visit more often. Plus, they want to see Ari and A.J.” Edward said and Andre’s jaw clenched.

“Well, I’ll bring A.J. but Arianna knows how to get up here, she can come on her own, she doesn’t need me to hold her hands,” Andre argued as Edward shook his head. “That reminds me. I need you to find out the procedure on filing for divorce when a wedding took place in Tahiti, Andre added.

“Nope, I’m not doing that. I’m not going to help you give up on your marriage,” Edward countered as Andre shook his head.

  “Man, whatever,” Andre responded.

“Yeah, it’s whatever. Mal is my boy too. I have love for him, but I don’t condone this shit at all. Now I sympathize with everything he’s been through but loyalty is everything. Loyalty should be stronger than what the heart wants and that’s just in my opinion. Now, as for you, unless Ari tells you she doesn’t want you anymore, unless she flat out tells you she wants him and chooses him, you fight for her. Because in all honestly, I believe she feels a little guilty and a mixture of obligation towards Mal. Yeah, shit, I’m not being naive, she might have been curious about him based on the circumstances, but finding out about that dumb ass deal you two made and hearing you talk about her as if she was just some prize possession didn’t help either. All I’m saying is, just think about it long and hard before you make any hasty decisions.”

“Damn, Ed that’s some deep shit.”

“Yeah, I try. I’m going to the shower so we can get to Imani’s. I’m starving,” Edward concluded.

p; “Yeah, I’m right behind you,” Andre added as he stood up and made his way towards the men’s locker room. Feeling the perspiration still dripping from his forehead, Andre quickly brought his towel up to his face. As he wiped the sweat off, someone bumped into him.

“Sorry about that. I can be so clumsy sometimes.”

Hearing the soft female voice, Andre removed the towel giving him clear view of a smooth, dark skinned female with long jet black hair. She appeared to be a good 5’8 inches tall in height and although she had a slender build, she had full breast and a nice size backside. She possessed what most folks tend to refer to as a coke bottle shape. She had long, thick firm legs with wash board abs. She was definitely model type and a model she indeed was.

“It’s cool, ma,” Andre replied as he couldn’t help giving her a quick once over. “You have a good workout,” he added as he continued towards the locker room.

“Thank you,” she replied in return as she too couldn’t help admiring his sculptured physique. Damn who the hell is that? She thought to herself. As he walked away she lusted shamelessly and licked her lips. Yes, just that quickly she was a goner; from his six pack abs, to his broad shoulders, smooth butterscotch skin, full sexy lips, his handsome face, soft wavy hair, broad chiseled back and his street swag walk. Oh, and the swollen bulge in his sweat pants didn’t go unnoticed either. Damn I need him in my life. I just have to find out who he is. She thought. No, there was no shame in her game at all or else she would have been turned off by the tattoo of the woman on his back, tattoo of the name Arianna on his neck, or the blinding platinum wedding ring on his finger. No, she could’ve cared less.

  Chapter Six

  Imani’s Bar & Grill

  Upper Manhattan, New York City

“Welcome back, Mr. Cirelli. Miss Lachelle has a special VIP section reserved just for you. Please, follow me,” The hostess announced as she lead Edward to his table. Once they reached the private area, Edward took a seat where he was joined by Andre. “Okay, your waitress will be with you shortly. Now will there be two parties?” The hostess asked.

“Yes, it will only be the two of us,” Edward told her. She nodded and left the table.

“What’s up, man. Eh, this place is great. I’ve been here almost an hour waiting for your ass, and I like it in here. It’s real chill and relaxed,” Andre complimented as he took a seat inside the booth across from Edward.

“Yeah, it’s real nice here. Imani has really outdone herself with this place,” Edward replied as the waitress approached them.

“Are you gentlemen ready to order?”

“Yes. I’ll just have an order of buffalo wings and a Carona,” Edward ordered.

“You, sir. What would you like?” The waitress asked as she turned to Andre.

“Oh, I’m still messing with this Coke and Henney right here, but I’ll take a shot of Patron,” Andre held his glass up and took a sip.”

“Alright then, I will be right back with your drinks,” She announced as she quickly walked away.

“You alright, Dre? Don’t tell me you’re drunk already?”

“Nah, but I’m feeling nice. Thanks for this little time away. I needed that shit,” Andre responded.

“No problem. You spoke to Ari?” Edward added.

“Nah, she called my phone, but I didn’t answer. I thought it was probably A.J. calling me from her phone, so I called the house phone and spoke to him.”

“Shit not cool, Dre,” Edward stressed.

“C’mon Ed, I’m trying to have a good time tonight. I’m not trying to hear that shit right now. What she fucking did ain’t cool and that nigga still being mad disrespectful. I swear, I’m two seconds from loosing it. The only reason I didn’t go and see him is because honestly, when I see him again I’m fucking him up on site. So, since I still have that damn assault charge pending, I’m trying to play it cool. Now, I’m done talking about this shit,” Andre sipped his drink.

“All right, man. I’ll leave it alone for now,” Edward replied.

“Where your girl at anyway?” Andre asked.

“Let me call her cell and see if she’s in her office,” Edward pulled out his phone from the case on his hip.

  At The Bar

“Alley, Mr. Cirelli’s and his guest order is ready. Can you please take it over to him and let him know I will be right over?”

“Sure, Miss Lachelle,” The waitress replied as she walked away with the mini tray.

  “Hey! Imani! a.k.a. Sticky.”

“I swear Sejine, stop calling me that shit! Why do you always have to add that at the end of my name? You starting to work my damn nerves!” Imani stressed in an aggravated tone.

“Uugh, bitch, calm down. I’m just messing with you.”

Imani rolled her eyes as she made her way from around the counter over to Sejine.

“You forgive me?” Sejine asked with a pout of her lips.

Imani laughed. “Yeah, yeah, I forgive you. Just don’t call me that again,” she hugged Sejine.

“Okay, I won’t.” She agreed. As they pulled apart, Sejine quickly scanned the restaurant and suddenly gasped in an exaggerated manner. “Oh my God!”

“Girl, what the hell is wrong with you?” Imani questioned as she looked at her in confusion.

“Imani, that’s him! The guy I was telling you about. The guy I bumped into at the gym earlier. Damn, that’s him!” She discreetly pointed across the room. Imani’s eyes followed the direction her finger was pointing. She smiled and turned her attention back to Sejiine.

“Uuhm, you better be referring to the fine one with the wavy hair and not the fine one with sandy hair, or else I may have to cut your ass,” She sassed as she placed her hand on her hip.

“Wait… why, is that Ed?” Sejine asked.

“Yupp, that’s my new honey. Now, you wasn’t referring to him, were you?” Imani questioned with raised brows.

“Girl, no! I’m talking about the sexy ass one with the wavy hair and those sexy ass lips and that little sexy ass beard,” Sejine expressed in a dramatic matter.

“Well, I’m not sure because I never met him, but if that’s Ed’s cousin, Andre from Jersey that he’s told me about, then I’m sure you noticed the sexy ass wedding ring on his finger,” Imani clarified as she cocked her head and laughed. Sejine simply shrugged her shoulders as she patted down her hair and pulled down her skirt.

“Yeah, I noticed and you know how I roll. I don’t date married men but if I meet one who sparks my interest, I find out his marriage status first before I officially write him off as being taken. Shit, as far as I’m concerned, if a married dude is having problems with his wife or if one is on the verge of divorce, then he’s fair game. Now that sexy motherfucker over there, I definitely need to find out his marriage status before I just rule him off limits.”

“See, you a coldhearted heifer,” Imani stated as Sejiine laughed.

“Haha, ice, ice baby,” she replied as they made their way to Edward and Andre’s table.

“Hey, honey,” Imani greeted Edward and slid in the booth next to him. Edward reached over and gave her a light kiss on the lips. Edward had been on cloud nine upon meeting restaurant owner, Imani Lachelle a month ago. Normally, he would find himself more drawn to a fellow lawyer like himself or a female in the white collar profession, but his attraction to Imani was instant and he became quite smitten by the 5 foot 7 inch tall, brown skinned and long curly haired beauty.

“Oh, Ed, this is my best friend Sejine Delvin.”

“Nice to meet you,” Edward greeted Sejine as he slightly stood up and shook her hand.

“Nice to finally meet you Ed. I feel as if I already know you, thanks to my girl right here,” she added and they all laughed.

“Oh, let me introduced you two ladies to my cousin, Andre Aeikan. He finally took time out of his busy schedule to come to our neck of the woods.” Edward informed Imani and Sejine.

“Hello Andre, nice to meet you,” Imani greeted.

Same here,” Andre replied as he sipped on his drink. Six Coke and Hennessey’s along with three shots of Patron later, Andre’s problems were temporarily a distant memory.

“So, this is our second time meeting today. It must be faith,” Sejiine flirted as Andre glanced her way.

Leaning back against the leather booth, he was able to get a better look at her. Damn, the chick from the gym he thought to himself. As he studied her, the vibration of his phone alerted him that he had an incoming text message. As he retrieved his phone from his hip, Edward and Imani stood up.

“Hey, Dre, Imani and I are going to the club downstairs, do you want to check it out?”

“Yeah, I’ll be right there, let me finish this drink,” Andre responded.

  “Alright, man,” Edward agreed.

“Sejine, girl you coming?” Imani asked.

“Sure, I’ll be there in a minute,” She responded as she glanced at Andre with lust filled eyes. As Edward and Imani left the booth, Andre clicked on his text log.

  Wifey: Hey

Andre’s jaw clenched as he tried to remain calm. Truth is, the whole situation between he, Arianna and Malachi didn’t just upset him, but it also hurt him deeply as well as his ego. He would never admit it but it had him questioning himself as a man. What Desmond joked about was actually the truth and that was new territory for Andre. In all the years he had been sexually active, he never once questioned himself and he never had to. Andre always had a boss like mentality in every aspect of his life and that included girls, sex and matters of the heart. Loosing his virginity at fourteen, he had the girls going crazy then and that remained the case throughout his teenage hood.

Once he entered a relationship with Arianna, his sexual performance escalated to a new high and it was the first time he was ever in love. Although he wasn’t always faithful in the past, he always felt Arianna would remain loyal and faithful to him for the simple fact he kept her satisfied sexually in addition to his love for her. He never believed she would step out on him, even with Malachi, and it was fucking with him to the tenth power.
